When Princess Eleanor begins to notice strange changes in her body, her mother, Queen Margot tries to blame them on puberty But when Eleanor finds dragon-scales emerging through her skin, she fearlessly confronts her mother and learns of the terrible secret the queen has kept safely hidden from her daughter and the world for many years. Eleanor goes on a quest to rid herself of the horrible changes she feels are overtaking her, and must battle a witch, a host of goblins and a mysterious dragon, in the hopes of becoming complexly human again.
